The Ad Group has represented the number one special event in the state of Mississippi, Cruisin’ The Coast, for the past 15 years. Every year the goal and challenge for Cruisin’ is to surpass the previous year in registrations and visitors to the Mississippi Gulf Coast through the marketing efforts on a national level. Each and every year until Hurricane Katrina, CTC far surpassed the previous year in registrations and visitors to our area. Since 2006, as the Coast has re-grown, so have registrations for Cruisin’ The Coast, once again setting a new record for cruisers & spectators in 2011. Cruisin’ The Coast garners an economic impact of an estimated $19 million for the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Hancock County Tourism Development Bureau now recognized as “Mississippi’s West Coast” has been  a client of The Ad Group for the past ten years and marketing efforts are throughout the southern region of the country. Through the marketing efforts, Mississippi’s West Coast continues to increase in number of visitors to the area annually.

In 2004, Smokin’ The Sound, an offshore powerboat racing event – which is the inaugural race of the Offshore Super Series for the Powerboat Racing Association – made its debut on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This event was a tremendous success with extensive regional media coverage, outstanding attendance and continues to be a successful annual event.
