Laura has been in the advertising business for the past 25 years. During this time, she’s made many advancements in the advertising industry and won numerous awards – including The Mississippi Gulf Coast Advertising Federation’s most prestigious honor – the Silver Medal Award. Laura is also very involved with the American Advertising Federation on a district level and served as the Governor of the 7th District for 2004-2005.
In addition to overseeing the marketing campaigns of her clients, as President of The Ad Group, she provides leadership in establishing policies and plans; develops and maintains the company’s structure; approves budgets and appropriations; and evaluates company operations.
In 1992, Laura worked on the Campaign “Mississippians for Jobs” which brought dockside casinos to Harrison County. She has been actively involved with the gaming industry since the arrival of dockside gaming.
Through The Ad Group, Laura is a member of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber, Biloxi Bay Chamber, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Ad Federation, Mississippi Hotel & Lodging Association and serves on the South Mississippi Salvation Army Board of Advisors.
Laura is a resident of Biloxi and is the mother of a son, Ricky, and a daughter Megan.
